Back in 2006, some girls were having coffee in a cafeteria just after a post-production class. Among Hollywood rumours and gossip, a name, well-known by ones and almost unknown to others, came up: Chris Evans.
"Did you see "London"?"
"Lon...what?"
"London, the movie, starring Jessica Biel"
"Hey, that chick from Blade, right?"
"Yep, that one. The film is nice, and the lead actor, Chris Evans, is even nicer".
"Nice acting or nice boy?"
"Both"
"Well, then I guess I'll see it"
"If you wanna, I can let you my "security copy"
"Done it"
I (Eidan) was the one asking for the film, and Fylgiar and Lcvcp were the ones who introduced me to the Chris Evans world.
A few days after having watched the movie, and after meeting up again in the same cafeteria, the web began to show itself up.
"That guy IS nice for sure. But I think I saw him in other movies..."
"Well, he also starred in Not another teen movie and F4"
"Aah, sure he was familiar..."
"Hey gals, and why don't we dedicate him a fansite? Web-design knowledge, anyone?"
"Well.. I once had a website about Buffy.." (yeah, so what! I'm a Buffy FAN)
That was said and done. After much googleing and monopolizing our (all-knowing) post-production teacher, ChrisREvans.com was born.
Of course this is the summarized version and all the overwhelming moments with Dreamweaver, FTP, Photoshop, Flash, etc. are omited.
It may not be very clear why we chose Chris Evans and no any other actor. The only thing we can say is that, beyond his appearance (we can't deny that Chris is really hot and handsome), we all firmly believe that Chris is a really gifted and talented actor, unfortunately underestimated (at the moment). But we know that he will show the world he's a superb actor (London or Sunshine) who can do much more than wearing spandex and showing his (hot) body off on screen. Time will tell.
